The Rubik Variant Images Shopify app extends the default functionality of Shopify by allowing you to assign multiple images per product variant. This enables you to create richer product galleries and a more engaging shopping experience for your customers.
Getting Started
Follow the steps below to install and configure Rubik Variant Images in your Shopify store:
1. Install the App
Go to the Shopify App Store and install the Rubik Variant Images app.
Once installed, configure it according to your store’s requirements.
2. Add an Image Gallery or Image Element
Insert an image gallery or image element into your product template.
These will serve as the display area for your variant images.
3. Enable the Repeat Function
Within your gallery or image element, select a Slide with an image.
Enable the Repeat function and set it to Repeat on product images.
⚠️ Important: Using a repeater is mandatory for proper functionality.
4. Remove Repeat Limit
Ensure that no repeat limit is set on the repeater.
This allows the app to dynamically display all images associated with each variant without restrictions.

Why repeaters are required: The repeater function ensures that each variant image can be displayed consistently and dynamically within your gallery or image element.
Unlimited variant images: By removing the repeat limit, you can upload and showcase as many images per variant as needed.
Native Instant support: If you are using Instant, no additional configuration is required—the app is designed to integrate seamlessly.
