Teams are shared spaces for agencies, brands, and collaborators. Projects in a team are visible to team members according to their roles.
Create a team
In the builder header, open the project switcher and click New team, or go directly to
/team/new.On the Create step, enter a Name for your team.
Choose an Icon—pick a preset or upload your own (Min. size 128x128px, PNG or JPEG).
Click Create team.
Instant then walks you through optional steps:
Invite — add teammates by email, or click Skip to invite later.
Move — add existing projects to the team (shown only if you have eligible projects).
When finished, you land in Team settings for the new team.
Team handle
Each team has a Team handle shown in settings (for example app.instant.so/team/your-handle). The handle is fixed and cannot be edited.
Edit team details
Go to Team settings → General (
/settings/team/your-handle).In the Details card, update the Name or Icon.
Click Save.
Only team Owners and Admins can edit team settings.
Bulk move projects into the team
Open Team settings → General.
In the Move projects card, click Move projects.
Select the projects you want to add and confirm.
You can only move projects you have access to, and a project cannot belong to more than one team at a time. You can also move a single project from Project settings → General using Move project.
Switch between teams in the builder
Open the project switcher in the builder header:
Under Teams, select My space for personal projects or click a team name.
Under Projects, pick a project in that context.
The gear icon next to a team opens its Team settings.
Delete a team
Go to Team settings → General.
Scroll to the Remove team card.
Click Remove team.
In the Remove team dialog, click Delete.
Deleting a team is permanent. The projects themselves are not deleted. Team Owners and Admins can remove a team. If you only want to leave a team you do not manage, use Leave team from My account instead.
