Instant works by exchanging data with Shopify—importing product and collection data and exporting finished pages to Shopify's theme. This guide walks you through installing the Instant Shopify app and connecting it to your Instant site.
Overview
To enable Instant and Shopify to work together, you need to complete two steps:

2. Connect Instant to Shopify | Link your Instant site to your Shopify store |
Install Instant's Shopify App
Note: If you have already installed Instant's Shopify app, skip to the "Connect Instant to Shopify" section below
If you signed up for Instant through our website (rather than through the Shopify App Store), you need to install the Shopify app before connecting your store.
Installation Steps
Go to the Builder in Instant
Click Publish in the top right corner
Click Connect
You'll be redirected to Instant's app page in the Shopify App Store
Click Install to add Instant's Shopify app to your store
You'll be redirected back to Instant

Connect Instant to Shopify
Once you have the Instant app installed on Shopify, connect the two platforms to start building.
Connection Steps
Go to the Builder in Instant
Click Publish in the top right corner
Verify that your Shopify ID is listed under "Connecting to:"
Click Connect
Once connected, you'll be able to:
Import product and collection data
Use dynamic Shopify content in your layouts
Publish pages directly to your Shopify theme
