Elements are the building blocks that are used to craft layouts with. These consist of layout containers, content related elements such as text, image & video elements and more.

Additionally we offer a library filled with premade layouts such as landing pages, product pages and sections. These will provide you with a head start and a foundation to build your store on. These are all constructed with our elements which you can utilize individually as well. Learn more about our Template library.

Utilizing Elements

Navigate to the Insert panel through the left sidebar to access the Elements library.

Element types

Select the Element tab, this will open the elements library which will function as the building blocks of your creation.

By hovering over an element type, a popup will appear with the element variants which then can be dragged onto the canvas within layout.

Layout elements (Row & Column elements)

Row & Column elements are layout elements that function as a containers which can house the other elements such as text and image elements. These are the foundations of your layout. If you place elements into a Row container, these will be stacked on top of each other. When utilizing a Column, elements placed into a column layout are placed side by side.

Basic elements

Basic elements contain the Text, Image, Button and Video elements. These are used to represent your content and navigational elements.

Shopify Elements

With Shopify elements, you can present your products and create interactions to allow your visitors to select and purchase products from you. These elements are dynamically linked and load in content directly from your Shopify store. These need to be placed within Containers that are connected to your Shopify content.

Advanced Elements

These consist of Interactive elements such Slider, Carousel, Gallery, Ticker, Accordion and Tabs. The Advanced elements such as App Island, Forms and Custom Liquid elements are used for embedding applications & forms from other applications or when you need to build custom functionality from scratch.
