With Instant any page that you have created can be set as your homepage from the starter plan and up. This page will replace your theme's default homepage but can be restored at any time if you wish to do so.
Setting your page as your homepage
To set your page as your homepage, navigate to page settings through the layout panel. Then on the General tab under Set as homepage, click on the Set as home button to proceed.
Restoring your theme's original homepage
To restore the homepage that came with your theme, navigate to the page settings of your current homepage in Instant. Then click on the Restore original home link to revert back.
To set a page as your homepage, a starter plan and up is required, it is also possible to create a custom homepage through the use of sections. This is possible on any plan, without any additional restrictions and the default method with Shopify 2.0 for creating a homepage.
