Build pages with AI

Use the Agent to generate new pages, sections, and layouts from a brief.

You can go from an idea to a page in minutes with Instant AI. Instead of placing every block by hand, you describe the page you need and let the Agent assemble the layout, copy, and styling inside your Instant project.

Before you start

Instant AI needs a plan that includes AI credits — Starter and up. Each build or edit uses credits from your monthly balance, and larger requests use more. Check your balance in Project → Plan.

Have a rough brief ready:

  • Page type (landing, collection story, about, campaign)

  • Primary goal (sign-up, purchase, education)

  • Sections you expect (hero, social proof, FAQ, product grid)

  • Tone and any must-include phrases

The more concrete your brief, the closer the first draft will be.

Start a new page with the Agent

  1. Open the Instant builder for your project.

  2. Open the Agent from the left sidebar.

  3. Type your brief. Example: "Landing page for our summer sale: bold hero, three benefit columns, a testimonial strip, and a product grid."

  4. Send the message and wait for the Agent to build the layout.

  5. Review the result on the canvas. Check both mobile and desktop.

  6. Refine with follow-ups ("shorter hero copy," "more whitespace," "swap testimonial for logos").

The Agent works on the layout you have open. You can start a new layout from the Layouts & layers panel, or ask the Agent — it can build pages, product templates, collections, navigation, footers, and cart drawers, depending on your plan.

Build individual sections

You don't have to generate a full page at once. Select an element on the canvas and use its Ask AI option, or open the Agent, to add a single section:

  • "FAQ accordion with five questions about shipping"

  • "Two-column split: image left, bullet list right"

  • "Newsletter signup with email field and privacy note"

This is useful when you already have a strong page and only need one new block.

Combine AI with templates

Instant includes a library of pre-made templates. A practical workflow:

  1. Start from a template close to your goal (Insert → Template Library).

  2. Open the Agent and describe what should change.

  3. Replace placeholder copy, adjust section order, and tune styling.

You get speed from the template and precision from Instant AI.

Import from Figma

If you designed in Figma, you can import your design instead of describing everything in text. See Import designs from Figma. Many teams use Figma for the first visual pass, then refine with the Agent inside Instant.

Credits and limits

Building pages with AI uses AI credits, and Studio image work draws from the same balance. When credits run low, upgrade your plan or buy more credits from Project → Plan.

Publishing limits (pages, reusable sections, templates) are separate from credits and depend on your plan. See Compare plans if you hit a ceiling.

Publish when ready

AI-built pages stay in the builder until you publish them to Shopify. Run through your usual checklist: links, product bindings, market visibility, and a mobile review. Then publish from the builder.

Once the page is live, track performance in Analytics and consider an A/B test to compare it against another layout (Pro and up include A/B test sessions; limits vary by plan).
