Instant uses passwordless sign-in. You create an account with your email or Google account, then sign in through a link sent to your inbox. There are no passwords to remember or reset.
Prerequisites
An email address you can access.
For Google sign-in, a Google account.
Create an account
Go to the Instant sign-up page.
If asked Do you have a Shopify store?, choose Yes to install Instant from the Shopify App Store, or No to continue with an email sign-up.
Enter your Name and Email, then click Continue. Or click Continue with Google.
Instant shows a Check your email screen and sends a sign-in link to your address.
Open the email and click the link to finish and open the dashboard.
If you sign up with Google, you return to Instant automatically after Google authentication.
Sign in to an existing account
Go to the Sign in page.
Enter the email linked to your account and click Continue.
Check your email and click the sign-in link.
You can also click Continue with Google on the sign-in page. Each sign-in sends a new link — Instant never asks for a password.
If no account exists for the email you enter, Instant shows an It looks like you are new screen where you can Create account instead.
Check your email
After you sign up or request a sign-in link, Instant shows a Check your email screen confirming the address the link was sent to. From there you can:
Jump straight to your inbox using the Gmail, Outlook, or Yahoo shortcuts.
Click Re-enter your email address if you typed the wrong address.
Click Re-send sign in link (or Try again during sign-up) if the email hasn't arrived.
Sign-in links expire after a while. Request a new one if yours no longer works.

Troubleshooting
I didn't receive the sign-in email
Check your spam or promotions folder.
Click Re-send sign in link on the Check your email screen.
Confirm you entered the correct email address.
Add
[email protected]to your contacts so links aren't filtered as spam.
The sign-in link expired
Return to the sign-in page, enter your email, and request a new link.
Google sign-in fails
Make sure pop-ups aren't blocked in your browser.
Sign in with your email and magic link instead.
I entered the wrong email when signing up
Click Re-enter your email address on the Check your email screen and start again.
