Sharing lets you publish a copy of a project that other Instant users can duplicate into their own workspace. This is useful for handing off starter layouts, agency deliverables, or internal templates.
Enable sharing
You need Owner or Admin access on the project.
From project settings
Open the project in the builder.
Go to Settings → General.
Find the Share project card.
Turn on Enable others to duplicate this project.
From the builder menu
Open the builder menu (Instant logo in the header).
Choose Share project.
Turn on Enable others to duplicate this project in the dialog.
When sharing is on, Instant generates a public Project link (for example app.instant.so/share/…).
Copy and share the link
With sharing enabled, the Project link field shows your public URL.
Click Copy to copy the link to your clipboard.
Send the link to anyone you want to give access.
Recipients can open the link without being project members. They see a preview of the shared project and can duplicate it into their Instant account.
Duplicate a shared project
If someone shared a project with you:
Open the share link in your browser.
Review the preview—it shows the project name and owner under "A project has been shared with you:".
Click Use this template to duplicate it into your workspace.
You must be signed in to an Instant account. If you are not, Instant shows "An account is required to use this template" with Login and Sign up buttons, then returns you to the share page.
Optionally, click Preview to explore the project in read-only mode before duplicating.
Duplicating creates a new project in your account. It does not change the original.
Turn off sharing
In Settings → General, turn off Enable others to duplicate this project and confirm in the Remove Public Link? dialog by clicking Remove.
In the builder menu's Share project dialog, turn off the toggle and click Remove link to confirm.
People with the old link can no longer access or duplicate the project.
Before you share
Sharing exposes a duplicate of your project's layouts and content to anyone with the link.
The recipient gets their own copy and connects their own Shopify store—your live store connection is not part of what they receive.
