The Assets library holds images you can reuse across your Instant project. It is available whether you build with the Agent or choose Build from scratch.
Open Assets
Open the ⋯ menu in the builder's left panel and choose Assets. The panel shows one source at a time:
Instant — Images uploaded to your Instant project
Shopify — Files from your connected Shopify store
Use the switch at the top of the panel to change sources. If Shopify is not connected, the Shopify source shows a Connect Shopify prompt.
Upload an image
On the Instant source, drag image files onto the panel or select Upload an asset. Uploaded images appear in the grid. Use search to filter them by name.
Use an image after building with the Agent
Select an image on the canvas.
Find Image → Source in the Design panel.
Choose an Instant asset or Shopify file.
You can also use the image action on the canvas to replace the selection or send it to Studio.
Use an image with drag-and-drop elements
In a layout created with Build from scratch, choose an image from Assets when an image source or image fill opens the asset picker.
A fixed asset stays the same wherever the layout appears. A dynamic Shopify image follows the product or collection connected to that element.
