Your setup checklist
Create your account — Sign up with email or Google and sign in with a magic link. See Create your account and sign in.
Connect your Shopify store — Install the Instant app and grant permissions so Instant can use your products and publish to your theme. See Connect your Shopify store.
Enable Instant Embed — Turn on the Instant app embed in your Shopify theme so pages and sections load correctly. See Enable the Instant app embed.
Build your first page — Start with Instant AI, a template, or a blank canvas. See Build your first page.
Publish — Push your layout live to your Shopify theme. See Publish your first page.
Guided setup for new projects
When you create your first project, Instant walks you through a short setup: it asks a few quick questions about your store, then lets you choose how to start — with a template or with Instant AI.
After setup, opening a project with no layouts yet shows the How would you like to start? overlay, where you pick Instant AI, Choose a Template, or Build from Scratch. See Build your first page for what each option does.
